Being East

By volunteering to be East, you are willing to bring a clear, easy-to-read set to be played on during the tournament, as well as racks. Feel free to bring your mats for a personal touch as well!

We want this to be a fair playing field for all those who are attending, so please read through our rules and make sure to abide by them!

You will have 55 minutes each round to complete 4 games, as well as score each game - this requires being able to understand the scoring and write out all final scores to be turned in after each round.

Whether you agree or disagree with a call during a game, if anyone has any kind of issue, you will raise your paddle to call over a Director for any disagreements or rulings - we will make the tough calls for you!

You are the first face people see when they arrive at a new table! Please be kind and welcoming - for some people this is their first tournament. 

Most importantly, we ask that you keep an open dialogue with your Directors. If there are any issues, gossip, uncomfortable conversations or more, please come speak with Jake or Chandler privately; we're counting on YOU as East to keep us accountable on situations we may not be privy to.
