Zero-Tolerance Policy

  • MM has a zero tolerance policy, our tournaments are a safe space. No abusive, inconsiderate, rude, or bullying behavior. Please keep your hands to yourself, no physicality out of anger towards another person.
  • Be kind, respectful, gracious and courteous to fellow players. For some this is their first tournament. A smile goes a long way! 
  • East leads your table, and keeps the game pace. They volunteer, are human and can make mistakes. 
  • Don’t judge others if you disagree with a player’s technique or strategy. Please keep any negative comments to yourself. 
  • See something, say something – if you witness or hear of any inappropriate conduct, please speak to a Director privately so they may address the issue in a polite and professional manner. 

Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • Payment for tournaments is due IN FULL at least 60 days prior to the tournament.
  • Cancellations MUST be a minimum of 30 calendar days prior to a tournament for a FULL refund.
  • If cancellation is made less than 30 calendar days’ notice, a deposit WILL be forfeited, unless there are EXTENUATING circumstances. Please contact a Director to have a private conversation with them should this issue arise.
  • Mahj Maniacs reserves the right to transfer any deposits or full unused/cancelled tournament payments towards future MM tournaments.
